So why not start by organizing your home to reduce stress and get moving. Do you ever feel uneasy when trying to get task done at home?  Well you are not alone.  The best way to combat feeling uneasy can start by easily getting your home de-cluttered, cleaned and organized.  It seems hard to organize your life at times but the best philosophy is taking it one-step at time and multi-task from time to time to meet your objectives to a more organized environment.  Here are some steps, which are extremely helpful in organizing the home one-step at a time.  First, maintain a weekly schedule to keep your home clean.  The worst thing ever is to come home from work every day to a clutter or messy home.  Next, get into a routine of tidying up 15 minutes every day and set aside at least an hour for deeper cleaning once a week.  If the best time is in the evening than get it done instead of sitting on the couch.   Another benefit of cleaning is getting a bit of a cardio workout if you are doing the deeper cleaning.  A great way to enjoy cleaning is to pump up the music and get busy.   Once month on a Saturday or whenever you have an off day take time to organize closets, cabinets or anything else, which seems to get the most disheveled throughout the month.  Even if you only do it for an hour or 30 minutes, it will accomplish a lot.
It is best to organize the home and getting rid of unwanted items after you have got the initial cleaning done then it makes it easier to see what is needed and what can go.    For those who have children old enough to help clean give them responsibilities to help maintain a clean household and it also helps to build character in children and young teens.  It will be more difficult if your children are already teenagers to get them to start pitching in if they never have participated.   Even toddlers can learn to pick up after themselves.   A great example to get toddlers excited about picking up their toys if making it a game.  A schedule for housecleaning is important and sticking to it will be an accomplishment in its self as well as having a tidy, organized home to live in.   Remember cleaning house does not have to be boring and a hard job to do, make it fun.   Once you begin a routine, you will notice it is not as difficult to do.  It will be less and less a chore.  Just like anything else in life, small steps can lead to even bigger steps.    Source: Free Articles from ArticlesFactory.com .
